This man is smiling in all of his pictures. Seriously. He’s one of the happiest Confederates I’ve ever come across, and he has an incredibly interesting story to boot.
Photo Challenge Day 9 — A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most
So this may seem cocky or narcissistic or whatever, but the person who has gotten me through the most… is me. I’ve had help in the form of good long talks with people, concerned phone calls, encouraging emails, but when it came down to it I’m the one who had to wrestle with my feelings and my sanity (such as it is) and get myself through the toughest times of my life, like my parents getting divorced and my break-up after a 9-year relationship. I’m tougher than I ever really give myself credit for being. I should remember that more often.
